So I finally got a new camera, an SLR. I've had it for about a week and a half. Unfortunately we are at that point where the snow has all melted but the greenery hasn't quite gotten here. So not many pictures at this point. I am still just learning how to use it, which isn't so hard. If you see lots of horse pictures, I'm sorry. I have to get enough practice in before Rolex next month.

As of Thursday night. I am going back to Rolex this year. Only here is the bonus. I'm going for all 4 days. That means lots and lots of horse pictures. including dressage. Great seats. I just wish I had a camera with a zoom lens on it. :/ Maybe by April. Who knows. Once I get the computer paid off, which shouldnt be too long now, I might be able to use my Best Buy card and get myself a shiny new(or slightly used) camera. Maybe with a fun lens. :D Keeping my fingers crossed. So be prepared for major freaking out and lots of horses. Just a friendly warning.

Sooo ticket prices came out the other day for Rolex. Needless to say I am beyond excited. For all 4 days of gen admission AND stadium seats for 3 of those days, tickets are going to be $100. Thats it. So cheap. I'm so pumped to go again this coming year. April 2010. Can not wait. So this year I am hoping desperately to have a new camera to take along with me to Rolex. And if at all possible a longer distance lens as well. My fingers are crossed. Because the first thing I need is a new computer. Why is it that everything I need lately is so expensive?!
